The Sundridge Bowls Club was founded in 1912 and in 2012 we have enjoyed 100 years of Lawn Bowls. We will be celebrating our Centenary this year and will be celebrating in style. We have produced memorabilia which will be available throughout the season to mark the event.
The Bowls Club is situated on the A25 in Sundridge, an area of outstanding beauty and the Green itself is set in beautiful gardens which helps to create a relaxed and enjoyable environment to partake and enjoy the game, there are covered seating areas along with outside viewing areas where you can sit back and watch the world go by. It is a very friendly mixed club and has one team in the Sevenoaks Bowls League at present, these games take place on Friday evenings beginning at 6 p.m. Full match details can be found on our fixtures page. The Green itself is well maintained throughout the season offering an excellent surface of play with plenty of room. The club has it’s own car park which offers off street parking for members and visitors.
If you would like to try your hand at the game then there is always someone readily available to teach you the ropes if you are not familiar with the game of bowls. Our roll up nights are on a Tuesday evening from 6pm so please come along and have a go. Our season usually begins about mid-April and goes on to end of September. .
As a member of the Bowls Club you are also required to become a member of the Sundridge & Brasted Social Club for a small subscription of £10.00. p.a. There is a licensed bar and social events are arranged on a regular basis, it is a friendly club and you are always guaranteed a warm welcome. The social club offers excellent facilities and there is a well stocked bar offering refreshments at subsidised prices
