Welcome to the Black Boy
Nestled in the heart of bustling Sevenoaks, the Black Boy offers a relaxing atmosphere with an excellent wine menu and good pub food.
The 1616-built pub is just down the road from the National Trust’s Knole House, and is the ideal place to stop-off for a refreshing pint and bite to eat.
The cosy interior features two real fireplaces, wooden floors and comfortable sofas where guests can unwind. Those seeking fresh air can enjoy the sheltered seating area outside the pub. We like to think we have the best outside area for eating and drinking in Sevenoaks and it’s a great sun trap between midday and 6pm.
The pub serves British classics at lunchtimes and bar snacks in the evening and boasts an impressive wine menu with a choice of seven whites and seven reds, as well as Shepherd Neame’s range of award-winning ales and lagers.
There is an acoustic music night the first Tuesday of every month and the pub is also the meeting place for local sports teams and fund-raising groups.
The Black Boy is closed on Sundays throughout winter and reopens from Easter Sunday to mid September.
