Ronnie (Veronica) and Bill Campbell will be your hosts at Austens Cottage, a charming family-run B&B hidden away down a very secluded, private no through road on the edge of the market town of Sevenoaks in Kent.
The cottage B&B is less than a 5 minute stroll from Sevenoaks town centre and only a few more from the mainline railway station to London (arriving in under 30 minutes) or the coast at Hastings, Dover and Folkestone.
There is off-street parking and many guests leave their car in the drive and set off for London. Ronnie and Bill can usually provide a lift to the station, but it is only a 6 or 7 minute walk if they are not around.
If you’re looking for a B&B in Sevenoaks, make Austens Cottage your first choice.
Austens Cottage is a warm and friendly home in Sevenoaks. The 2 bedroom B&B accommodation has recently been refurbished to a high standard and each of the rooms has the benefit of its own En Suite shower. WiFi is available throughout the house for your use.
The first bedroom is a large triple aspect twin-bedded room, with space enough for a couple of floor based toddler travel cots or a foldaway bed for an older child. This room has coffee and tea making facilities, a 27 inch TV with Sky, and plenty of storage and hanging space.
The second is a smaller double room also with coffee and tea making facilities, 32 inch TV with Freeview and a smaller storage and hanging space.
Breakfast is taken in the bright, airy hall overlooking the courtyard and garden. In the summer, guests are welcome to have breakfast outside on the terrace in the warm early morning sun. Choose either the Continental breakfast or the Full English, depending on your taste. Regular breakfast hours are between 07.30 and 08.30 on weekdays and 08.00 to 09.00 at weekends, unless specially requested otherwise.
