New Ash Green & Hartley Cricket Club is a friendly, sociable club which started out in 1972. A short history of the Club, along with past match reports, averages and some recollections of former players can be found under the Archive link on our website.
In order to enhance the Club we seek to:
promote cricket in the community
encourage all players of all ages and abilities to get involved with cricket
provide the right level of cricket for all members
provide facilities for the development of colts
develop a family friendly atmosphere
continue to improve the cricket facilities at Manor Field in association with Hartley Parish Council
The Saturday 1st XI play in Division 1A West of the Kent Regional Cricket League and the 2nd XI play in Division 2C South Thames of the same League. The Sunday XI play an extensive range of friendly fixtures aimed at developing young players and giving social players a game.
We welcome new players at all ages and every level. Anyone wishing to support the Club as umpire, scorer or ‘tea maker’ are also very welcome. The club will consider overseas players. At present, although we can promise overseas players a friendly welcome and an enjoyable time playing competitive cricket, we can provide very little in the way of financial support.
