Hartley Country Club has six all-weather courts; two of the courts are floodlit, thereby facilitating play throughout the year.
There are approximately 50 senior members and 50 juniors, most of whom play league matches. Ladies, Men’s and Mixed teams, plus Veteran teams, are entered in Kent and North Kent LTA Leagues, both summer and winter, and meet with varying degrees of success.
Social play is important, takes place at specific times on Sundays 10am until 12.30pm and in addition in summer Tuesday evenings 6.30am until dusk. In Winter we have floodlight sessions on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Club Championships are run during September, and very popular American tournaments are organised throughout the year.
Junior Section
There is also a thriving junior section, expertly led by a LTA qualified coach.
