Overlooking the village green and a pond full of ducks, this traditional pub is located in an idyllic rural setting. Situated on the edge of the historic National Trust property Knole Park, the Bucks Head attracts a broad spectrum of loyal customers who enjoy the informal, cosy atmosphere.
The house is everything you would hope for in an old village pub – oak beams, roaring log fires and comfy sofas, with the added bonus of excellent food. Specialities include venison, wood pigeon and partridge fresh from the local gamekeeper.
Thursday and Friday fish evenings are renowned; often for their Mediterranean flair thanks to Greek licensee Michael. The large beer garden with mature trees backs onto Knole Park and is especially popular in the summer.
