Brasted is a pretty, unspoilt Kentish village. It is located on the A25, 2 miles from Westerham and 4 miles from Sevenoaks, which are the nearest main centres.
To the south are National Trust woodlands and land with many well-defined walks. Chartwell, the former home of Sir Winston Churchill, is nearby as well as other stately homes.
The Parish Council provides local administration to the Civil Parish of Brasted, which is centred on the village of the same name.
The Parish also includes Brasted Chart and Toys Hill.
Brasted Parish is roughly one mile East to West by five miles North to South. It borders on the parish of Sundridge with Ide Hill to the East and Westerham to the West.
