I absolutely love what I do! I have the honour of documenting the most important moments in people’s lives and preserving their special memories forever. Personally I think I’ve got one of the most rewarding and satisfying jobs in the world.

I am a wedding and on-location lifestyle photographer serving the South East and across the UK.

Lifestyle

I mainly specialise in lifestyle portraiture which means you, being you. This is especially important when photographing children as they remain in an environment they are familiar with and will feel a lot more at ease. My style is relaxed, informal and fun. I create images that you cannot find at a studio. I take the time with each and every client to produce the very best lifestyle portraits – the kind that can be treasured for years to come.

My approach to photography is part patience and part interaction; Patience because I have learnt that when photographing anyone (pets included), everyone needs time; Interaction because I know how important it is to build an instant rapport with even the youngest of clients – then the session really begins!

One of things I love about Wedding photography is capturing images of couples interacting and being completely relaxed with each other. There are many couples out there who have been together for a while and don’t intend to get married. A new service that I offer is Couples Shoots, an hour or two in a location that could be personal to you or just in your local town or park. The images that I capture are a combination of individual and couple portraits and shots of you together taken in a photojournalistic style.
Shoots normally take place in and around your own home. Most people, particularly children, find this more comfortable than a studio and it is also somewhere personal to you. A typical shoot can last up to 4 hours, firstly talking some shots using studio lights for that contemporary lifestyle appeal and then in a more natural environment be it around the home or out and about for more personal, relaxed moments.

Weddings
My approach to Wedding Photography is to shoot in an unobtrusive style that documents your day from the little personal details to the big events. From getting ready through to the first dance I capture natural images of you and your guests that tell the story of your day. If you would like formal shots then I will aim to complete these within 30-40 mins so that you are not away from your guests for too long.

I aim to provide you with totally unique images that are as individual as you and the day you have planned. It is about you, your venue, your surroundings, your loved ones and your emotions instead of just snapshots of your day.

Many people are camera shy and don’t feel comfortable having their photo taken so I offer an Engagement Shoot before the Wedding day so that you can get used to being in front of the camera and be put at ease. This is very similar to the Couples Shoots that I offer but this is included within your wedding package.

For evening entertainment I am also able to offer a Crazy Booth for you and your guests to let your hair down and have some fun pictures taken with a variety of fun props.
