Positive Steps Children’s Day Nursery

Situated in the heart of Sevenoaks, Positive Steps Children’s Day Nursery is a purpose built facility for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. Nurturing babies in their own specialist baby unit, our staff work with babies and parents to ensure the individual children’s needs and routines are met. For our older children education is an essential part of our daily routine and with our Preschool education programme specialising in the delivery of literacy, phonetics and early maths we endeavour to ensure your child is ready for their transition to school.
The Nursery has a stimulating secure garden complete with age appropriate climbing frames and water features. Ample off street parking allows for convenient drop off and collection times. The Nursery has CCTV in all rooms and a secure door entry system. Our Children’s menus are overseen by our registered dietician and nutritionist who specialises in child nutrition. Freshly prepared meal are made at the Nursery to cater for individual children’s needs.
With our excellent facility and devoted staff we are able to offer the children an environment where they will grow and learn. Our staff will support each child as an individual and ensure that all children are giving the opportunity to develop at their own pace.

Positive Steps Nursery is dedicated to providing the finest quality childcare and education for children aged from 6 months to 5 years. We offer full and half day sessions at competitive rates. The Nursery offers light and airy rooms with staff who are dedicated to providing a safe and stimulating environment for all of the children within our care.

Our purposely designed rooms offer a safe, stimulating and enabling environment for each child to progress and develop at their own rate:
Babies- 0-18 months
Older Babies – 16 months – 26 months
Toddlers – 22 months – 3.5 years
Pre-School – 3 -5 years

Located on the St John’s Road, Positive Steps in Sevenoaks has excellent commuter links to the A21/M25 as well as being ideally located to the town centre and Sevenoaks train station.

The Nursery has specifically designed rooms to encourage child development and to meet the needs of the individual age groups. Within this safe environment the children can properly explore and question their surroundings. The Toddler and Pre-school rooms have an lT study area.
The security of our children is of the highest importance, with CCTV in all rooms and a secure video door entry system ensuring parents have peace of mind that their children are being cared for in a safe environment. The Nursery is fully air conditioned and has its own private parking.
The spacious outdoor play area incorporates astroturf, comprehensive climbing apparatus and a sensory garden. As part of our extracurricular activities we also provide French and music lessons taught by external tutors. We also actively encourage visit and trips to places of interest.
