The members took over the running of this 8 rink purpose build bowls club, which has ample free car parking available, from Sevenoaks District Council in 2004. A company, Sevenoaks IBC Limited, was formed and its directors have ensured that the club’s facilities have been continuously updated and improved. The bowls carpet was replaced in 2005 and the bowling floor was boarded the following year to provide a perfect playing surface. A ballroom floor was laid in part of the clubhouse in 2010.
This bowls centre has proved to be a popular location to many residents of the Sevenoaks area for many other activities. They have valued the function rooms and catering facilities, which are available for hire. We have bookings from local businesses, women’s and children’s groups, card players and local government departments, as well as for a wide range of individual once-off celebrations and parties.
