Welcome to CanvasRus, one of UK’s leading suppliers of canvas prints.

CanvasRus is a well established online company with many years experience in the digital printing industry, specializing in creating beautiful canvas prints from customers’ own photos or original artwork.

Our parent company Portobello Art, was established in 1987, so has been in the art, print and framing trade for over 20 years. We started digital printing over 10 years ago and probably began the trend of creating digitally printed canvas pictures for trade customers. It soon became apparent that this unusual canvas wallart was becoming increasingly popular with many consumers who were constantly contacting us requesting a single canvas print or to put their photo on to canvas.

Hence CanvasRus! The website was launched in March 2004 and was probably one of the first digital printing companies to offer photos on canvas to the retail public.

Through our trade company, Portobello Art, we also have a huge corporate customer base supplying literally thousands of canvas prints to the Hospitality & Leisure industries worldwide (from Hotel groups like Premier Inn, Hilton Hotels and Holiday Inn to Leisure companies like CenterParcs and Butlins). As a result we print 250-300 canvas prints a day (that’s right – a day, not a week!) for retail and trade customers.
